We’re delighted to launch the very first Bay Creek Tastemakers Awards, an exciting initiative that shines a light on the wonderful businesses that bring life and charm to Cape Charles.
Cape Charles, recently bestowed the title ‘Best Little Beach Town in Virginia’ by Southern Living, is undoubtedly a place to adore. Blessed with stunning beaches, delectable dining spots, captivating boutiques, and a vibrant range of activities, it’s a town like no other. It’s time we honor the unique people and places that craft this distinctive Cape Charles vibe, and that’s precisely what the Tastemakers Awards are all about.
Your participation is key! As esteemed members of our community, your insights and experiences are vital. We invite you to nominate your top Cape Charles businesses and experiences in a variety of categories, such as the ‘Best Place to Grab a Drink’ and the ‘Favorite Local Artist or Artisan.’ Feel free to select as many categories as you like on the provided nomination form.
The nomination window is open until June 12th. Post nominations, we’ll step into the voting phase, which will be held across our social media platforms and Bay Creek app. This voting process will spotlight the true ‘tastemakers’ who make Cape Charles the treasure that it is.
But that’s not all! We’re compiling all nominees into the premier edition of the Bay Creek Tastemaker’s Guide. This comprehensive directory will feature the cream of Cape Charles, with special acknowledgments and bragging rights going to the winners.
The Bay Creek Tastemakers Awards is more than a contest. It’s a tribute to our community, a salute to our local stalwarts, and an opportunity to appreciate the businesses that add to Cape Charles’ reputation as Virginia’s finest beach town. Let’s celebrate our local gems together!
