Sometimes just seeing a smiling face is enough to completely lighten your mood and brighten the day. Bay Creek and Cape Charles are front porch kind of places—it’s where we get together to catch up and wind down. And now, it’s the perfect perch for sharing a few smiles.
Bay Creek’s own Julie Pruitt ventured out by golf cart to take a few fun snaps of Bay Creek friends on their porches. She was met by some very creative Members who certainly put the social in social distancing.
We spoke with resident, Phillipa Wilcox who, with her husband, Dave, brought some levity to the ‘challenges’ of the day.
On the inspiration for their photo: “We loved the idea of the porch pictures. It’s a great distraction from the news. We wanted to have some fun and give everyone a giggle. We all need a smile right now,” says Phillipa.
Looking on the bright side is a quality that seems never to be in short supply among Bay Creek residents.
