The Alexander Lee is a luxurious custom built Bayfront home offering modern features mixed with timeless design, idyllic views of the Bay and private beach access are some of the many features of this home. With open concept living the first floor boasts a built in bar, a modern kitchen with granite counter tops with an extra commercial sized 2 door side by side fridge/freezer with a large ice maker in the bottom for all your entertainment needs as well as a large dining table for your family gatherings. The living room with a large, mounted TV over the fireplace also has a large sofa that can also convert into a queen bed and the view from the porch is amazing, outdoor living at its best. If you need more space the office can also convert into a queen bedroom! After a long day at the beach or golfing, you can come home remove their sandy clothes pop them in the washer, wash off in the shower making it easy breezy!

The second floor has an additional 4 bedrooms, the large master suite with king bed (two twins together adjustable bed), fireplace and a luxurious master bathroom with a large shower and stand-alone tub. This rooms opens up onto a balcony where you can relax and drink your morning coffee or a glass of wine and watch the sunset. A room with two twin beds and one with 2 sets of bunk beds with full beds on the bottom and twin on the top are separated by a jack and Jill bathroom. And finally, the bedroom with a king bed( two twins together adjustable bed) and beautiful en suite bathroom!

Moving onto the third floor with its balcony boasting breathtaking bay views with a large couch that opens up into a queen bed and a large, mounted TV, bar area and another full bathroom with large walk-in shower.

This custom house is a must rent with its attention to every detail will make your vacation one to remember!

This house is not as advertied. Beware.

The house, which is advertised as beachfront, does not have a view of the water from the main living area which is the first floor. A horrible floor plan design. Clothes dryer and stove did not work. The house advertised two king beds. There were no king beds in the house. Two rooms had two twin beds pushed together covered with a king size bed spread. A dead sea turtle washed up on the beach in front of the house stinking to high heaven The kids would not go to the beach with it there. It took the resort 3 days to remove. We lost half of the 6 days we could have used the beach.Not worth the $12,000.00 we paid for one week. Avoid this property. They should give me a refund.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your stay. This home does offer direct beach access and is indeed a beachfront property with views of the water. Both king beds in the home are Sleep Number adjustable beds, allowing each side of the bed to be individually adjusted to the sleeper’s preferred comfort level. Regarding the upstairs dryer, we believe our staff communicated prior to your arrival that it was out of service. There was, however, a working dryer located downstairs that was available for guest use. Additionally, our staff determined that the oven was not working because a breaker had tripped, which was corrected once the issue was reported. We certainly understand that discovering the sea turtle was upsetting, especially for the children. While we cannot control these types of natural occurrences, there is another beach access point available, and we hope you were able to utilize that area during your stay. Overall a great house - some suggestions for improvements

This is our second time staying in Bay Creek and 4th time staying in Cape Charles. Overall the house was great - just a couple of improvements need to be made. Better black out blinds would be appreciated as well as a clean outside grill (the one there was unusable). The split king beds were uncomfortable - a regular king mattress would be better. Need to fix the leaking roof (primary bedroom closet). The camera on the top floor was a bit unsettling as our 11 year old granddaughter was staying up there even tho it was partially covered with blue painters tape. Better pans and more big serving bowls would be nice. Overall the house was nice. Check out Buttercups in Eastville for great coffee, bagels, biscuits, sandwiches!

EXCELLENT STAY

We stayed at the Alexander Lee for a family vacation and it was perfect. Great location, clean, organized, fully stocked. We loved the private beach and the central location to everything in the neighborhood. Check in / out was a smooth and easy process and everything in the home was comfortable and well thought-out. We will definitely be back!

Great family annual trip

This was a great house in Bay creek. The first floor layout is spectacular for families and gathering, and the location on the private beach is ideal. The house was lovely. The process was easy and the accommodations were great. The one negative is that the house had an extreme amount of fruit flies and gnats in the kitchen the entire stay making it difficult to cook and enjoy the kitchen area, they were everywhere despite keeping doors closed and food covered. Other than that, we loved the home and would definitely stay again!!

Relaxing Family Vacation

Wonderful stay- cannot say enough great things about Bay Creek Community. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. It was in great condition. We loved watching the sunset every night over the water. The Pool club and beach club were both excellent! Would highly recommend and plan to come again!

I have adult children. My wife and my kids and I had an awesome and relaxing time here. You don't come here for exciting night life, discos, bars and pick-up/hook-up scene. This is for young couples with kids and families....Period. We LOVE it!

A Slice of Paradise on the East Coast

My family and I had the opportunity to visit the Bay Creek area in October and stay at the Alexander Lee. The home is beautiful...three levels of comfort with amazing scenery directly overlooking the beach. The home take advantage of every possible view of the serene beach. For example, in the master bedroom, you can wake of to sunrise and then step out on the balcony to listen to the waves and watch boats going by in the distance. It was absolutely peaceful! Further, everything was sooo comfortable: the beds (which could be elevated with a remote), the couches, etc. This just really added to the comfort. There was plenty of room for the kids as well: my eldest had a personal room with her own bathroom, my middle and youngest got to share a jack-and-jill bathroom, while having their separate rooms. The adults were also able to enjoy downstairs time while the kids played on the third floor. When we needed some beach time, we simply stepped outside of the back door, walked over the dock, and we were there. The beach is pretty private, as only the owners of the home (and their guests) get direct access to that beach area, which is a HUGE plus! (I love my privacy!) All other beach users have to go to a separate access point far away. While the water was a little cold for October, the weather was still beautiful. Being around Halloween, we were also able to join the festivities! We went to town and Trick-or-Treated with the kids from shop to shop. Also, we got to go to a lovely park where there was coloring, caramel/candy apples, animals to pet, and more. I wanted to take the time to share, because we really had a great time with our family. I believe the Alexander Lee is a little slice of paradise that is right here on the East Coast. We\'ll definitely want to go again!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

Perfect beachfront vacation spot with private beach access and all the amenities you could ask for. The house is brand new and absolutely gorgeous. Incredibly close to downtown Cape Charles and everything the area has to offer. Management company is great to work with as well. Girls Weekend

I planned a girls trip & saw this wonder huge home with private access to the beach. The weather in November was still nice and we were able to walk the beach and collect sea shells. It wax very spacious and my favorite part is they have tons of supplies and dishes so we packed light. A lot of local stores were still open and I was able to bring the family a few treats from town. Highly recommend for large families and girl/guy weekends.

Perfect Getaway

We loved our time at the Alexander Lee. The view is amazing! The location is close to town. We enjoyed all of the local shops and restaurants that we went to. The house is very relaxing and has all you need to cook. An incredible time was had by my group of mom friends. I can’t wait to go back!
